GM's Ultimate Big SUVs
The new model of the GMC Yukon Denali and Cadillac Escalade came out a few months back. Now reviews are in about these models and if you or a friend are interested in buying one then you should know about some of the drawbacks. Though the trucks are handsome, drive nicely and deliver reasonable fuel economy for their size and power, some significant drawbacks should make you think twice. When you go buy a eight passenger SUV, you are looking for comfort and a lot of room. One of the biggest negative about these trucks is that third row does not have enough leg room. Also in the older models the back seat was easier to remove. The back seat should be able to fold down. According to Motor Trend, the third row in the GM models tumbles forward and against the back of the second row. Definitely the looks, features, and handling are excellent in the SUVs but a potential customer is also looking for comfort. If a person is going to spend about $60,000 on a truck then should be able to get the comfort that they expect. Overall there have been many improvements such as the looks, but seating and space utilization are compromised despite large overall size.
